The popular Irish folk band Dervish, also Ireland’s entrant at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, will release their tenth album on October 26. Travelling Show promises to reach record peaks in sales. Keeping up with the Celtic tradition, Dervish enjoy huge popularity across Europe and in the United States. This year Dervish did not manage to defend the fame of all-time winner Ireland (Ireland has won the ESC trophy the record seven times). Even so, the band have continued their successful carrier, especially on the folk music front.
